Green Spaces

We are very fortunate in Crowborough that the Town Council is managing three fabulous nature reserves for the benefit of wildlife and local people. We support the Council’s efforts at the Crowborough Country Park, the Bluebell Wood, Palesgate Meadow and The Ghyll by helping with conservation work.

Wonderful as these sites are, we need to do much more if we are to reverse the loss of biodiversity and preserve Crowborough’s natural habitats in the face of increasing development pressures.  Ultimately, we’d like to establish a network of green spaces within the town and link these special sites with corridors so that wildlife can move freely between them.

So please get in touch if you have suggestions for other areas of conservation interest, big or small, that we can include on these pages.  Help us to identify Crowborough's valuable natural habitats that need protection.
